Fentanyl is evil.

I know there are medicinal uses for it. Hospitals use it often during patient care. In that way, it isn’t very different from a number of other narcotics that are being used and abused by the public.

There is an epidemic of deaths related to Fentanyl across the United States. For context, when hospitals use Fentanyl, it is in GRANULAR level amounts that are diluted and administered to patients in a very controlled environment. It is highly monitored. The medical community knows and understands the dangers associated with the misuse of Fentanyl. In short, this isn’t about people taking massive amounts of drugs and overdosing.

The way Fentanyl is killing Americans is different. This drug is being pressed into other pills in amounts large enough to kill grown, healthy adults. Some of you have seen the “One Pill Can Kill” campaign going on across social media. This is NOT an exaggeration. People are buying pills they believe are Oxycodone, Xanax, or other drugs being used (misused) recreationally. Kids are buying pills that are PURPOSELY being manufactured to look like candy. A single pill with the Fentanyl pressed in is killing people. They are buying these pills through social media apps like Snapchat, not knowing what they are getting. I am NOT vilifying social media on this one. This is NOT the fault of Snapchat or any other app out there.

It is easy to blame the drug cartels because of the use of the words drugs, overdoes, illegal, etc. In reality, that doesn’t make much sense. The one thing drug dealers need is repeat business. Killing off their customers, knowingly or unknowingly, is really bad for business. Do they share blame in this, of course they do. Are they knowingly manufacturing these pills so they kill Americans? That’s a tough sell if you ask me. Drug cartels are BUSINESSES. Those men, as evil as they are in the business they do, are businessmen. Like I said, killing off your clientele doesn’t make good business sense.

So, the question to ask is “Who IS responsible for this?” The second question to ask is “Why?” I don’t know the answer to either of those.

I do feel like this is deliberate. Someone, whoever is making these pills with the lethal dose of Fentanyl pressed in, is doing this on purpose. If some low-level drug producer had done this by accident, the cartels would have killed him already for doing something so stupid and putting their business at risk. I don’t know if this is some sick bastard, a foreign entity, or whatever other theory you can come up with.

I know this; Fentanyl is killing Americans at an alarming rate. This shit is awful and it is dangerous. We need to ensure our family members, children, everyone knows that this is out there, it is real, and it is dangerous. Do what you have to do. Talk to each other. Educate yourselves. Have blunt conversations.

We know for sure, this is Evil.
