Hindsight of 2024

It seems the entirety of the Democratic Party, and much of the media, has seen fit to revisit, review, and rewrite the reelection bid of President Biden from 2024. Hindsight of 2024 is 20/20. Yeah, its’s a terrible pun but it was difficult to pass up.

Apparently, now is the time for everyone to come forward and admit running Joe Biden again was a bad idea. Everyone from George Clooney to Jake Tapper to Pete Buttigieg to Chuck Todd are each coming out in their own way to let everyone know that President Biden was in a state of mental decline and it wasn’t a great strategy to run him again for reelection.

Yeah. No shit. Welcome to reality.

Most of us knew it BEFORE the disastrous debate appearance when it became blatantly apparent to much of the voting public. Even after the debate, there were still many who were openly supporting President Biden… at least until he finally withdrew and handed the baton to Vice President Harris.

There are still Democrat leaders like Chuck Schumer who will not openly acknowledge what happened and, especially, their role in denying or actively covering up how bad things had gotten inside the Oval Office. In an interview, Schumer was asked directly about whether or not he knew President Biden was unfit to serve a second term. His response was merely “… we’re looking forward.” When challenged on that response, he stated the exact same words. “We’re looking forward.”

What is really amazing is that EVERY SINGLE ONE of these named and unnamed sources are upset because running President Biden as long as they did, and leaving Vice President Harris a very truncated campaign timeline, lost them the election. They are all blaming President Biden and, simultaneously, pointing fingers at everyone but themselves for allowing him in an obviously declining mental state to run again.

My favorite quote is from the book Original Sin by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson. This book chronicles the decline, cover-up, and impact of the reelection bid. I will absolutely NOT read this trash because Tapper was complicit in all of it but is using this to try to absolve himself. However, the quote from one of their sources, David Plouffe, says very clearly the fault for the Harris campaign loss was on President Biden. “It’s all Biden. He totally fucked us.”

So, no one else’s fault. Not the cabinet. Not the DNC. Not Congressional leaders with a “D” after their name. Just Biden. His fault.

They are pissed about the campaign loss. They are looking for an excuse for no longer being in power. They are looking for ways to absolve themselves of losing the election. According to Chuck Schumer, they are “looking forward.” They are looking for someone to blame.

You know what they AREN’T doing? Everyone is focused on the election and the mental decline and the late reelection withdrawal and the loss of the White House. They AREN’T looking at how long this was going on and they AREN’T looking at who was running the country while he was in decline.

They AREN’T looking at the DANGER our country was in while President Biden was slowly turning into rice pudding.

This is about absolution and reputation recovery. This has nothing to do with what is best for this country. NOTHING. These elected democrats and their paid messengers from the media are all trying to distance themselves from the failure of the 2024 election.

But, seriously, what about ALL of 2024? or 2023? What about all those months when President Biden was falling off his bicycle and tripping on the stairs of Air Force One and only working six hours a day and lashing out in anger at people? What about all of that?

Are any of these people going to address any of that? Are we going to bring the Biden cabinet in front of Congress to testify? What about General Milley and the Service Chiefs? Are we going to hold ANYONE accountable for being complicit in hiding or ignoring this? I’m no doctor but this didn’t JUST pop up during the reelection bid.

We aren’t. The current administration won’t do it. Should they? No.

I know. You’re all snapping your necks and disagreeing with me. Everyone wants arrests for everything. Most supporters of President Trump want everyone from every past administration held accountable for every single thing that has happened. Pitchforks and torches. Arrest them all. Hang them in the village square.

No.

About three years ago, after the raid on Mar-A-Lago, I talked about opening Pandora’s Box. I wrote about how the Biden administration had weaponized the FBI to attack President Trump. I wrote about how it was unprecedented and how it was much like the “unwritten rules of baseball” in that it was something you just didn’t do. I wrote about how future administrations would now have justification to do the exact same thing… over and over for eternity.

It has to stop. The Democrats and the media agents like Jake Tapper need to let this go. Let it die. And the Republicans need to let them do it.

Biden was fruit salad. He stayed too long and probably should have been removed well before a reelection bid. It happened. The country is still standing, and we are recovering from the shit sandwich left by Biden and those that covered for him. They lost the election in every facet.

That’s the accountability. That’s the punishment. And it stings and it is going to last a while. As it should.

We, as a country, need a return to political decorum where not everything is a literal attack and a lawsuit and a hearing. The voting public spoke and that was that. The blue team needs to take the “L” and follow Schumer’s advice and look forward. The red team needs to let them, but also never let them forget. Use it when needed in those closed door meetings that happen when votes matter in Congress.

“Hey, Schumer, remember when you covered for Biden and put the whole nation at risk? You want us to drag that through the next two election cycles? No? Sign the paper.” It sounds very mafia style but that was how American politics happened BEFORE the Mar-A-Lago raid. That’s how it worked BEFORE the 34 trumped up felony counts against President Trump.

That’s how it worked BEFORE we started dragging our DIRTY LAUNDRY onto the international stage for the world to see.

We need to go back to it. We need to go back to 2022 and NOT dwell on the Hindsight of 2024.
